A pandemic forced Abrams Hebrew Academy, a Jewish day school, to almost overnight, become a virtual day school. With the help of some fantastic teachers, and staff, in no time we were up and running classes with Zoom.
As the math teacher, I knew I had to keep the instruction going as smoothly as possible. I set up an area, in my house, with a large whiteboard for presenting lessons. Zoom gives the children the ability to see me teach a lesson, ask questions, and work together, just like we do in the classroom. The children will be able to finish out their academic year, and be on track for next year.
